You can take a walk along the sea front to the nearby Bondville Model Village and maybe take in a game of crazy golf along the way! A little further along you will find Sewerby Hall and Gardens, built in the 18th century, within the peaceful and picturesque village of Sewerby – you might like to take the land train which runs regularly throughout the holiday season.
Also nearby is the historic Old Town of Bridlington, where scenes from the recent Dads Army film were shot in 2015, and well worth a visit. You will see the impressive Priory Church, The Bayle Museum, a mix of galleries, craft shops, antique shops and the quaint Georgian Tearooms.
Burton Agnes Hall is another historic house not far away, or travel a little further to the Yorkshire Wolds or visit Filey, Scarborough or Whitby. If shopping is more your thing then you could drive to Beverley, Hull or York or maybe take a train or bus from the local stations.
There is something to suit all tastes in and around Bridlington!
